GED Testing
The Safford Library is an official GED testing site! Register now online at myged.com. Testing is available Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-7:30 pm for the exception of National Holidays.

GED Adult Education Prep Program
This FREE online course helps prepare you for taking the GED. The course is managed by the Gila County Education Service Agency.
The program:
-Registration and paperwork must be filled out in person at the Safford Library.
-MUST have a photo ID to register.
-Once registered you will need to schedule a date to take a locating test called TABE.
-A max time of 3 hours should be set aside for the TABE test.
-All coursework can be completed on any of the library's public computers or any other computer with internet connection.
You qualify for the program if:
-You are 16 years or older.
-NOT currently enrolled in any other GED support or service.
-NOT currently enrolled in school or out of school for more than 3 months.
